The research project team consists of educational and social scientists from the Bertha von Suttner Private University St. Pölten and the Centre for Teacher Education at the University of Vienna.
Oliver Koenig EN
Oliver König is a professor of Inclusive Education and Inclusion Management at the Bertha von Suttner Private University in St.Pölten. Previously, he was a postdoc researcher at the Department of Education at the University of Vienna. His research interests are participative and inclusive research, creating inclusive learning environments, transformative learning and education processes, change and transformation of the organizations and services for the people with disabilities, person-centered work, personal future planning as well as human rights and disability policy.
Ass.Prof.Dr. Michelle Proyer
Michelle Proyer is a TT Professor for Inclusive Education at the Centre for Teacher Education/Department of Education, University of Vienna. Her research and teaching focuses on inclusion, disability and forced migration, cultural and societal factors that affect the realization of inclusion on a global scale.
Dr. in Seyda Subasi Singh
Seyda Subasi Singh is senior researcher in the project since May 2021. Her research interests lie within Inclusion, Educational Inequity, Intersectionality and Disability Research. Since 2016 she holds a postdoc researcher postition at the Department of Education at the University of Vienna.
Mag.a Sabine Mandl
Sabine Mandl is a senior researcher (political scientist) in the area of the rights of persons with disabilities and women‘s rights. Her research focus is violence and inequality with special emphasis on gender and intersectionality. She has been a researcher at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Fundamental and Human Rights since 2000 and has been an external lecturer at the Institute of Political Science at the University of Vienna since 2016.
Susanne Prummer BA BEd.
Susanne Prummer works as a research assistant at University of Vienna since 2019, since May 2021 in this project and is currently completing her Master‘s degree in Political Science at University of Vienna.
Alexandra Gutschik BA BEd.
Alexandra Gutschik has been a research assistant in the project since May 2021. She is currently completing her Master's degree in inclusive education at the University of Vienna and works as a teacher in an inclusive school centre. Her research focuses on inclusion, individualization and differentiation, educational transitions and guidance in inclusive settings.
Michael Dolbmair BA BA MA MA
Michael Doblmair worked for twelve years with disabled children, studied philosophy and educational science. Since January 2022 he is employed as a university assistant (praedoc) at the Center for Teacher Education, in the Department of Inclusive Education. In his dissertation project he deals with the methodology of Participatory Action Research from a historical-materialistic perspective. For the past four years, he has also been conducting research on experiences of discrimination with students.
Mag. a Barbara Hager
Barbara Hager graduated from high school in Vienna in 1998 and in 2010 she completed her studies in psychology at the Universities of Salzburg and Vienna. She is currently doing her doctoral studies at the Institute for Educational Science at the University of Vienna. She is also a lecturer on interdisciplinary topics in the departments of Deaf Studies.
